Leave Soda Bottles Out in the Cold to Make Your Own Slurpees

In many parts of the world, temperatures are hitting record lows. Make the most of this winter cold by turning soda into slushies or slurpees. All you need to do, as the video above demonstrates, is leave a bottle of soda out in the freezing cold for a few hours—to the point where it's really cold but not yet frozen. Slowly twist the cap off, and the soda will slushify itself. (Yes, that's a new word.) For all those lucky folks who don't have to worry about defrosting themselves right now, just use your freezer.
